Banking at School

“Banking at School” will give our students a fun and exciting way to learn to save. We are teaming up with the Bank of O’Fallon and will hold “Bank Day” one day a month with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Students will be permitted to make deposits and watch their savings grow while earning interest. A bank official will come to our school on Bank Day to be in charge of all transactions.
Your child will have a savings register and will be able to make deposits of a $1.00 or more at the LaVerna Evans Bank. He/she will also be able to make deposits at the Bank of O’Fallon located at 901 S. Lincoln. We will send home a bank envelope before each bank day.
*** You must go to the Bank of O’Fallon to open an account for your child before he/she can join our banking program. Please return the bottom of this form when you have opened your student’s account.
